Enjoying a quaint position on a winding street in Newlyn is this charming terraced stone cottage, Puffin Cottage, enjoying close proximity to the coast. Suited for a couples break, its cute and compact interior is adorned with a seaside theme and benefits from all you need for a fabulous self-catered stay. Enter through the pretty green door and come into the living room/diner straight away, where you will spend the evening sat on one of the two grey sofas in front of the woodburning stove, a lovely addition bringing warmth to you and your loved ones. Put a film on the Smart TV and wind down after a day of exploring the South West Coast Path, resting your legs for the next day. Move into the beautifully-presented kitchen to the back of the cottage, wonderfully fitted and boasting art by local artists on the walls and home to a great range of appliances for a modest kitchen including a washer/dryer. While dinner is cooking, enjoy a refreshing drink out in the pretty courtyard at the bistro table and chairs, reveling in the warm evening air, before heading back to the dining area to enjoy a delicious meal. Move upstairs when your eyelids are heavy and find two bedrooms, an inviting king-size bedroom, hosting charming furniture and a calming sky blue wall creating a truly tranquil place to rest. The double bedroom is neatly arranged with the bed against the wall on one side, and a pretty window seat below the window on the other, affording a lovely spot to settle with a good book for a quiet moment. Serving these rooms is the bathroom where a bath with a shower over awaits to freshen you up in the morning, or provide a relaxing soak at the end of the day. Step outside your homely abode and explore your surroundings, with Newlyn offering shops and pubs within a few minutes of walking, you can access all you need, head to the fish market early in the morning and pick up the catch of the day for a romantic meal later on, or dine in one of the restaurants specialising in the seafood. Ramble along the South West Coastal Path up to Penzance and walk along the promenade, before getting some fish and chips to eat by the harbour. Marazion is further along the coast and when the tide is right you can walk out to the wonderful St Michael's Mount, a rocky island hosting a medieval church, castle and gardens. Puffin Cottage offers you a delightful place to rest when you're not enjoying the sights and delights of Cornwall.

Home to one of the largest fishing fleets in the UK, Newlyn is a delightful coastal town resting just underneath Penzance in Cornwall. Enjoy rising early to wander through the bustling Fish Market to see the wide range of fish caught and pick up something fresh for your evening meal. With shops, pubs and restaurants all around you will find all you need, and the beautiful town of Penzance is within walking distance too.
