Experience - The Area...

Less than 5 miles from each of the historic harbours of Charlestown and Mevagissey and a couple of miles from Pentewan Sands on the Cornish Riviera is this recently renovated , 150 year old former barn, Harpers Haven. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are an eight minute drive with the larger town of St Austell 4 miles with a range of shopping facilities including two supermarkets, a leisure centre, cinema, golf course and mainline railway station.

Stay - The Accommodation...

With the accommodation set out across one level, Harpers Haven makes this lovely property most suited to younger families or adults who prefer this ground floor accommodation arrangement.

Accessed from the decked veranda at the front (via one shallow step) you enter the comfortably furnished and presented open plan living area.  Attractive engineered oak flooring throughout adds a feeling of warmth with underfloor heating most effective. A fold away dining table and four chairs is provided for your convenience.  A pair of French doors lead out onto a small paved patio to the rear.  The spacious lawn garden also to the rear is enclosed making it a safe environment for children and pets alike.

Off the living room to either side are the two ensuite bedrooms.  The master double bedroom with king size bed has a bath ensuite with electric shower over, large wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.  The versatile single bedroom with its clever truckle style single bed can also be made up into a king size bed too! The shower ensuite belonging to this room has a generous size shower cubicle with wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. Both ensuites have attractive slate tiled floors which are again underfloor heated for your comfort.

Private parking for a maximum of two medium or one large size car is next to the property on a gravelled surface.

The barns are located opposite a working dairy.  London Apprentice a six minute drive, has a small convenience store and restaurant with a traditional pub at Polgooth only an eight minute drive.
