The hot tub was great and we were thankful for the cover which allowed us to use it despite the rather soggy weather! The staff at Charteroak were lovely, with the odd phone call/email to check in that everything was okay. The view of the lake is beautiful and the decking is new, so no issues as reported in previous reviews. Overall, a very relaxing stay and I look forward to returning in the future.

The decking is rotting and felt unsafe in places. Some mould on the blinds in the bathrooms and some of the walls a bit mouldy. Some non slip door mats would really help to be able to keep the property clean while staying.

Would highly recommend it. Property is very clean, the only downside the decking is rotten and broken in places which could be dangerous. The staff are very helpful, especially Sally. All in all had a fabulous holiday.
