… a Grade II listed, terraced cottage in an attractive row of seven on the hill winding down 250 yards to Boscastle village centre with its shops/pubs/restaurants; harbour, 500 yards (leafy footpath down from opposite side of access lane). In front, own small enclosed garden (table/chairs) looking over a larger, communal lawned area (benches).
Inside, pretty cottage furnishings and original character and charm: lovely old flagstoned floor (rugs) downstairs, gothic-style arched windows/doors and typical knobbly beams/walls/floors. From the garden, arched double doors to porch; open-plan living/dining/kitchen (microwave, fridge-freezer) with TV/DVD and fireplace (woodburner), cosy for dining or sitting (additional sofa/day bed cleverly built-in understairs). Up steepish stairs (5'4" ceiling in places), with a glimpse of fields beyond, a snug double bedroom (bed with footboard) with oak floor (rug); bathroom (suite plus hand-shower) with washing machine, small tumble drier and cupboard for clothes-hanging (no wardrobe in bedroom). No children, except pre-crawling babies. A sweet cottage in a handy spot for walking/exploring the coast.
