Hillside cottage is set on the owners working dairy farm and has been renovated to a very good standard in 2020, an ideal getaway for friends or family alike wanting to explore the Shropshire countryside. The property is situated 1½ miles from Malpas, and the historic city of Chester, with its famous races and excellent selection of bars, shops and restaurants, is just 18 miles away. Other places worth visiting, within easy driving distance, include Chester Zoo, 28 miles, Blue Planet Aquarium, 30 miles and Beeston Castle, 18 miles. Cholmondeley Castle Gardens are 12 miles and Delamere Forest, with its ‘Go Ape’ treetop adventure park, is 20 miles away. North Wales is also very accessible from here, and the popular beach resorts of Rhyl, Prestatyn and Talacre are all within an hour’s drive. We had a lovely 3 nights at Hillside cottage, the family were so kind offering ideas for outings and even took us on a little view of the farm and introduced us to the calves and let us join in with feeding them! Our little ones loved it. the flat itself was comfy with a great shower and the lovely farm doggie running up to greet us for cuddles upon arrival and many times after was the cherry on top- we may well be back in the future :)
