The Chapel in Cumbria is highly praised for its stunning setting, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the friendly host and the property's suitability for dogs, with an enclosed garden and nearby dog-friendly beaches. The location offers peace and tranquillity, ideal for walking and relaxing. While most reviews are positive, a few note the garden's upkeep and the property's proximity to a working farm.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently mention the property's immaculate cleanliness, with only one review citing an unkempt garden, which seems to be an isolated concern.

The location is celebrated for its peacefulness and proximity to beaches and nature, although a couple of guests found it too rural or not as secluded as expected.

The property is frequently described as comfortable, cosy, and well-equipped, providing a relaxing stay with only one mention of potentially unsafe stairs.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with positive comments on maintenance and amenities. However, there are a few remarks about the garden's condition and the presence of a working farm.

While the reviews reflect a thoughtful and welcoming host, there is no specific mention of gifts, so it is not possible to assess this category.

The Chapel was everything and more we could have asked for. It’s a stunning conversion with a beautiful and spacious garden for the dogs to roam around in. It had all of the amenities we required, and was plenty big enough for two people/ 4 dogs. The secluded location was beautiful and incredibly peaceful, but it was also very easy to find. It was a quick 2 minute drive down to Silecroft beach and had a public pathway walk right on the doorstep, both of which were perfect for the dogs. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to The Chapel in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A rural location you need some transport. The cottage is brilliant and the facilities are good. My 4 dogs loved it,even if the cockerel did torment them
