Imagine waking up to the sun beaming through the curtains, birds chirping outside and the smell of breakfast being prepared on the barbeque. As you wander through the light-filled living and dining room, looking out towards the open terrace and the stunning vista, where coffee and tea awaits. It’s a picture-perfect situation and one that can become a reality at the Casa Toix Este (breakfast ready when you wake up may be harder to conjure up). This villa is located along the Costa Blanca coast in Spain, where the days are hot and long and the water is crystal clear and oh so inviting.
The inside of the villa equally as appealing, it is bright and airy, with tonnes of natural light beaming in the oversized windows and double doors that are throughout the holiday home. The living area is complete with cable television, and comfy sofas calling your name come your siesta time. The living and dining room offer open-plan living, which also continues out the double doors to a large, open terrace.
Meals can be prepared in the kitchen that is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare all sorts of banquets and feasts. These can be enjoyed in the living room or on the terrace, both of which offer stunning vistas.
When it’s time to rest your head, guests can pick between one of the three bedrooms. Two of the rooms each have two single beds, the other has a double bed and a bathroom en-suite, which has a double washbasin, bath with shower and toilet. The other bathroom has a single washbasin and toilet.
Outside the villa is a private pool, with sun loungers calling your name. Privacy is optimal at this villa, and though it is in a residential area you feel as though you are in your own slice of paradise. The ocean sits in the distance, as you sit in the garden either poolside or on the terrace taking in everything. You can escape the heat with the private pool or simply cool off with a quick rinse in the outdoor shower. This villa is the epitome of a Spanish villa, with terracotta stucco-clad walls, arched walls on the terrace and cobblestones surrounding the pool, after all, you may as well go all out! Spanish red anybody?
All of this is located just one kilometre from Cala Les Urques beach and Mediterranean.
The Costa Blanca is one of the most desirable holiday spots in Spain, with crystal clear waters, long sandy beaches and weather that is perfect all year-round. Whatever season you fancy taking a trip, chances of stunning weather are high as the Costa Blanca area averages an afternoon high of 20 degrees all year-round, that and 3,000 hours of sun a year make for year-round perfect weather for a getaway.
This villa is located within four kilometres of Calpe, a coastal town along the Costa Blanca celebrated for its stunning coastlines with beautiful beaches and rock pools and for its history. Due to its positioning along the coast, Calpe has attracted many voyagers and settlers throughout history. There are even remains of Iberian tribes that have been found throughout the town. The area has a lot of rich history, including that of pirate attacks during the 14th to 17th century. It wasn’t until the 18th century when the town could regenerate and become the tourist location it is today.
The history provides plenty to do in Calpe, from days sunbathing and swimming at the numerous beaches to early mornings and evenings wandering the town, exploring the Moorish quarter and the church, Iglesia Vieja, which is Valencia’s only remaining example of Mudejar-Gothic architecture.
Being along the Costa Blanca coast means you are always with a short drive of other towns. At the heart of the Costa Blanca, Calpe is close to many stunning towns such as Benissa and Moraira. The two nearby airports, Valencia and Alicante are both about 100 kilometres away from the villa.
