Villa Romani is a unique, charming property located just outside of Pollensa. The location is fantastic, on the slopes of a hillside with splendid views over the countryside. The rural setting makes it easy to forget that you are only a few minutes’ drive or a short cycle from the historic centre of Pollensa, where you will find all the shops, cafes and restaurants you could want.
The entrance to the villa is extremely elegant, bordered by fruit trees providing an instant romantic atmosphere to the property. There is a parking area, from which you can gain access to the annex which consists of two parts. The first part has a double bedroom with exposed ceilings and elegant painted walls, there is also a bathroom, large living room and a kitchen. The second part of the annex consists of a double bedroom, bathroom and a living room. There is a door that links the two parts of the annex so you can choose your own level of privacy.
Following the contours of the hill, you will find the main villa which is a little higher than the annex. As you enter you are instantly hit with enviable views of the countryside from the spacious living room, this space is ideal for relaxing and socialising. There is a modern kitchen ideal for cooking up a summer feast for everyone to share. There are also two double bedrooms that share a superb bathroom.
Outside you will find a cosy terrace and a desirable, refreshing swimming pool perfect for cooling off in the warm Spanish climate. Next to the pool, there is a sauna, providing a little piece of luxury, where you can let all your muscles relax. There is also a ping-pong table, great for kids and adults alike. Villa Romani truly provides something for everyone, in a tranquil, romantic atmosphere.
Pollensa has everything you need for a wonderful holiday, situated inland from some of Spain's finest sand beaches. The town itself centres around beautiful cobbled streets leading to a traditional church. Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning. Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.
The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area, but be warned that to get to the top you have to climb 365 of them. However, the climb is worth it and the views definitely do not disappoint.
