Situated in a quiet residential area close to the attractive towns of Sa Pobla and Pollensa - and all that they have to offer, Villa Larena is a stunning, family-friendly holiday home that accommodates up to eight guests over four bedrooms. Well-equipped with all the facilities you’ll need for a relaxing stay, the villa offers a spacious, luxurious interior and wonderful outdoor spaces that are sure to keep guests of all ages happy and entertained.

Villa Larensa features comfortable surroundings and a layout that lends itself perfectly to family life, with a welcoming atmosphere and a real home-from-home feel. The property enjoys an elevated position, giving guests incredible views of the lush, green surroundings and the hills beyond.

Decorated throughout in fresh, light, neutral shades, Villa Larensa features a beautiful open-plan living space, with a spacious dining area with seating for six, positioned by doors that open out onto the terrace and flood the room with luscious, Mediterranean light. The cosy lounge area has sumptuous, cosy sofas, a flat-screen satellite TV, and a wood-burning stove that creates a warm, comforting atmosphere. The villa’s modern kitchen is fully fitted with all the modern appliances you’ll need to create fabulous family meals during your stay, including a large fridge-freezer, microwave and oven.

Villa Larensa features four large bedrooms, all decorated to the same impeccably high standard; three with gorgeous double beds and one twin room. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and the villa also benefits from an additional guest bathroom.  

Outside is equally impressive when it comes to space and design, with a lovely first-floor terrace with seating that provides guests with the ideal space to converse, read, or enjoy a drink or two as the sun sets over the hills. A partially-covered central patio offers more outdoor seating for rest and relaxation and leads out to the private swimming pool, a selection of sun loungers and a cosy daybed. For alfresco meals that the whole family will enjoy, there’s an outdoor dining area, kitchen and barbecue, and the whole garden is screened by trees, making it a tranquil and peaceful space to spend your time.

Villa Larensa has situated just a ten-minute drive from the small municipality of Sa Pobla near Pollensa. The area is well-known for its agriculture and, in particular, its potato harvest. In fact, the region exports this local produce all over the world and a festival is held in the humble vegetable’s honour every year. The town is the perfect place to unwind and relax, and visitors here spend their time strolling through the pretty streets and the ambient old quarter, visiting the traditional Mallorcan shops selling fresh, local produce and crafts, or relaxing in one of the bars, cafes or family-run restaurants that are plentiful in the area.

If you want to really immerse yourself in the culture while you’re here (and we highly recommend that you do!), an amble around the local parish church and the Can planes Museum of Contemporary Art will give you a fascinating insight into Sa Pobla’s history. The museum showcases more than a hundred works by artists from or living in Mallorca, with the collection including many sculptures and temporary exhibits as well as paintings.

The town is no stranger to festivals, and in addition to the annual potato festival (Fira Nocturna de la Patata), where you can enjoy music and dancing alongside traditional and modern potato dishes, the town also hosts the Sa Pobla Jazz Festival every August, presenting more than fifteen national and international artists. If you happen to be visiting the town in mid-January, you could get to enjoy the spectacle that is the festival honouring Sa Pobla’s patron saint, Sant Antoni. The theme of this interesting celebration is fire, with the big attraction being ‘demons’ who are set free to chase people around the town! You’ll also get to experience a fire show, live music, and delicious barbeque specialities such as botifarron and llonganissa (Mallorcan sausages).

One of the best things about holidaying close to this vibrant and charming town is its fantastic location, with everything you could possibly want from this stunning Mediterranean island all within easy reach. Sa Pobla’s close proximity to the coast means that the beautiful beaches of Alcudia, Pollensa and Can Picafort are just a short journey away, as is Albufera’s famous wildlife nature park.
