About this property

An incredibly comforting and spacious villa based near the charming town of Ronda, Finca Naranja Ronda is a perfect place to stay if you wish to discover everything that this exquisite region has to offer. The outdoor grounds are home to an opulent saltwater swimming pool, allowing guests to truly relax as they observe the awe-inspiring views that surround this entire private property. Guests are also free to enjoy a spectacular array of outdoor terraces, ensuring that they can delve into a wealth of exciting al fresco dining experiences throughout their time on this irresistible property.

Inside, the main house is decorated with an abundance of diverse features, helping to build a deeply comforting and homely atmosphere for guests to revel in. The living area is home to a pair of spacious grey sofas, one of which provides an unobscured view of the luscious garden area. Guests can kick back and relax on the considerable seating arrangement as they begin to appreciate the peace and tranquillity that this property offers. Travelling over to the dining area, this space presents an incredibly robust wooden table and an accompanying collection of short white chairs. These exquisite design choices help to create a communal environment that guests are sure to love. The kitchen within this property is very modern and showcases a much darker theme compared to the previous rooms. Using a wealth of black cupboards and wooden surfaces, guests will have everything they would need to craft a series of delectable meals.

One of the best elements of Finca Naranja Ronda is its separate accommodations. After a day spent together in the main house and within the gardens, guests can get a great night's sleep in one of the four separate bungalows, just a short walk from the main house. Not only are these rooms gorgeously decorated, with either double or single beds, and all with en-suite bathrooms, they give guests a sense of privacy. As such, Finca Naranja Ronda is perfect for a large group of families or couples travelling together. Some of these luxurious bungalows contain seating areas, and all benefit from an outdoor terrace, so guests are welcome to wake up, make a nice cup of tea, and enjoy the peace and quiet before the day starts. Please note that some of the bungalows contain an open-plan mezzanine area, accessed by a ladder, which we don't recommend for the elderly or for the very young. Please get in touch with us for more information!

Finca Naranja Ronda is based just 20 minutes away from the iconic town of Ronda, a location that is well recognised for its vast collection of historical monuments and vibrant local culture. One of the most iconic landmarks within this area is Puente Nuevo, a looming bridge that spans across the decadent El Tajo Gorge. First built in 1759, this bridge took over 34 years to complete, making it a truly legacy-defining attraction. Guests are free to embark on an immense walking tour, allowing them to travel the vast length of this bridge and bask in the emerald-green trees that sit below. If you wish to learn more about the history of this bridge as well as the whole region in general, be sure to visit the accompanying exhibition that resides just a short walk away. The owners of Finca Naranja Ronda are always around to help organise any tours or excursions and can give plenty of recommendations for things to see and do in Ronda.

Jardines de Cuenca is another deeply inspiring attraction that can be found just next to the Puente Nuevo. During their time at this spectacular attraction, guests will have the chance to explore 23 rose-covered terraces, gaining a more intimate look at the region's diverse selection of horticulture. These gardens were first constructed in 1975 to celebrate the relationship between Ronda and its sister city Cuenca, in Castilla-La-Mancha. Nearby is La Casa del Rey Moro, a historic palace with a water mine that is also a must-see in the town! Once you have explored everything these attractions have to offer, you must take a walk into Ronda's town centre and marvel at the characteristic white-washed houses that accentuate the beauty of this area.

Though Ronda boasts a tremendously transformative and bustling food scene, many tourists tend to overlook its most famous dish. This city prepares rabbits in a truly unique way, serving them with fresh garlic and mushrooms. Local hunting has been prevalent since Arabic times and has greatly influenced regional cuisine. Guests can discover this delightful dish in a collection of local restaurants, discovering how these indulgent flavours blend together to build a truly unforgettable dish. Overall, this area is a fantastic place to visit for avid foodies who are looking to enjoy a deeply off-beat meal as they gain a more authentic taste of this incredible region. We highly recommend sampling some of the local vino and tapas, especially in Ronda's Old Town, known as 'La Ciudad' (the city).

When we arrived our jaws hit the floor, and that was at night! By morning we were in awe all over again. Gorgeous countryside backdrop, lovely touches and a really comfortable feeling of home/retreat. Diana and Andy are wonderful, their warm and friendly nature made our stay even more delightful. There is lots to do in Ronda, so much history to explore. The house set up is especially great for groups as you spend time together in the main house, garden or by the pool before heading off to your private cottage for a peaceful night (loved star gazing before bed from own little terrace!). It has everything you need for a comfortable and practical stay. Thank you so much for having us - we’ll certainly be back!

We knew Finca Naranja Ronda was going to be beautiful from the images online, but my gosh does it look even more magical in real life! The manicured gardens are exquisite and the interiors are out of this world. We loved the fact the bungalows are self-contained so we had some privacy in the evenings, but the kitchen/dining bungalow was where we spent most of our time together, watching the sunset and enjoying the barbecue! If you do one thing this year, book this property! You really won’t regret it… we’ll definitely be back!

An elegant and well designed retreat for a small group in a setting. The aroma of the hills, and distant sheep bells. The beds were comfortable. The pool crystal clear and crisp. I swam every day. We had everything we needed and more. Blender, yes. Steak knives, yes. Nespresso machine, yes. Three couples getting away for a week to recharge. The hosts were welcoming and responsive, and they had everything ready for us. You’ll need WhatsApp to communicate for arrival. Ronda, the Roman theatre, cave town of Setenil…..but really staying here is amazing by itself. This is a heaven of beauty and tranquillity from the bustle of city life. We were refreshed body and soul after our week. The views are dazzling. The decorations elegant and thoughtful.
