Refurbished from an old olive mill, the estate blends historical character with elegance and tranquillity. Built in the style of the traditional pueblos blancos, the charming whitewashed architecture is decked with bougainvillaea and sits within the picturesque mountain village of Gaucín. Dramatic views stretch across cobbled lanes, over the Andalusian mountains, towards Gibraltar, and even across the Mediterranean Sea to the Rif Mountains of North Africa.
Each of the eight individually styled homes offers elegant, self-catering accommodation, providing both privacy and luxury. Guests enjoy stylish interiors that reflect the region’s Moorish heritage, with arched doorways, sun-soaked terraces, leafy courtyards, and peaceful corridors weaving the estate together. Hosting all the amenities you need such as a living room with a TV and DVD player, an open plan kitchen and a bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom, Don Jose's Chambers also supports a private balcony where you can enjoy alfresco dining with spectacular views!
Lillias Pastia
This home is larger than the two previous properties and it includes all you need, such as a spacious living room, open plan dining area for four people against a fully-equipped kitchen. This family home hosts two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Enjoy alfresco dining here too!
Escamillo's Villa
This home is a lovely family home. You can access the terrace for glorious views from the expansive living and dining room, open-plan with seating four people against a fully-equipped kitchen. This family home host two bedrooms, both housing double beds and one offering use of a balcony. Enjoy alfresco dining here too!
Smuggler's Suite
Just as romantically charming as the other homes, this villa provides a living and dining room for four, right by the fully-equipped kitchen and allowing access to the terrace for outdoor dining! Alongside a family bathroom, The double bedroom and twin single bedroom both offer en-suite bathrooms and delightful balconies!
Casa Carmen
Casa Carmen is the second biggest villa on the estate. A huge living area has been set to support lounging and relaxing as well as hosting a dining table for six and a fully-furnished kitchen. Best for larger groups, the home provides two bedrooms, both with twin single beds, however, one of the rooms has an en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom is gorgeous, with its a double bed and en-suite bathroom! The villa also allows access to the terrace, so you enjoy the spectacular climate.
Casa Abanico
Largest of the homes, Casa Abanico is easily the master home. Supporting eight guests everybody can chill out together in the spacious and open-plan living and dining area. Here watch TV or enjoy conversations by the fireplace! Head to the dining area, where a table and eight chairs are set to accommodate all and both areas allow access to the terrace! The fully-equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar and there's even a studio/chill-out room, where you can find some solo bliss! Whilst two bedrooms, one hosting a double bed and another with twin-single beds share the use of a family bathroom, the bedrooms upstairs offer access to the magnificent balcony and the convenience of en-suite bathrooms. Choose from the double bed in the master room or twin single beds in the other room, perfect for youngsters!
La Frasquita
Newly-renovated for 2024, La Frasquita is located in the lower part of the property and has direct access to the pool terrace. Here guests can enjoy a real sense of privacy from the group, whilst still remaining connected to everyone. On the ground floor, there is the open-plan living room and kitchen where you can gather, and moving upstairs you will find two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. One bedroom benefits from a double bed and the other has two twin beds - perfect for a family of four!
Guests also have an expansive private swimming pool, which all apartments can share the use of, on the large terrace area, with its various sun loungers and parasols!

Finca Buceite sits in the heart of the village of Gaucin, overlooking the surrounding countryside and down to the Mediterranean Sea. This humble village boasts superb views and historic towns and settings, the Moorish, Visigoth and Roman influence apparent throughout the region.
In and around Gaucín there is a selection of excellent restaurants offering typical Andalusian fare. In the centre of the town, visitors can sit and drink superb wine and or feast on tapas and paellas!
Step back in time with a walk up the hill to Castillo del Águila, the Roman fort. You can also check out the preserved ruins of the Arabic fortifications. You might also see some of the many varieties of eagles for which the Castle is named. Closer to home, the Fuente de Los Seis Caños (Fountain of the Six Spouts) built in 1628, is also well worth visiting.
Sunbathe and swim at the beaches of Sabinillas or Sotogrande- only 30 minutes away. Alternatively, get carried away kite-surfing in Tarifa - only one and a half hours away!
