Just 20 20-minute drive, the charming mountain village of Benahavís is a typical Andalusian settlement with winding streets and white-washed buildings. To enjoy the best outdoors, join the locals for a hike amongst the cork oak forests and natural pools. A popular route follows the village valley along the Guadalmina River. It is perfect for walking or jogging, and many opt to pack a picnic and spend the afternoon beneath the shaded trees, dipping in the clear natural waters.
