Located on a quiet residential street on the outskirts of Quinta do Lago, Villa Girassois is relatively remote so you’ll likely need a car to get around. With a car to help you get around, you’ll be able to easily access local amenities like grocery stores, bars and restaurants.

Two excellent golf courses, Quinta do Lago and San Lorenzo, are just a 10-minute drive away from Villa Girassois, and the beautiful sandy beach, Praia do Garrão Nascente, is also less than a five-minute drive from Villa Girassois.

Getting to the villa to start your holiday is easy with a car as the area has excellent road links, making it a great choice to add on to a wider trip around Portugal or as a standalone holiday. If you’re planning to head straight to the villa from Faro Airport, the commute is relatively short at only 20 minutes.

Villa Girassois is also just a short drive away from Quarteira, one of the Algarve’s oldest seaside resorts. Heading into Quarteira for a day lets you see the livelier side of the area with a vibrant social scene, local shops to patron and delicious restaurants to try.
