HRV and heat pump technology keeps the home well ventilated and at an optimum temperature, while the wood burning fireplace is the perfect centrepiece to evenings snuggled up on the couch with a glass of Central Otago Pinot Noir.

A fully equipped entertainers kitchen here at Jack’s Cottage is fitted with top end appliances. Whether you’re whipping up brunch complete with a fresh cup of Nespresso coffee, or roasting a leg of lamb for the perfect winter feast, you’re sure to find everything you need to self-cater your stay.

Arrowtown offers a central base for the year round traveller to explore all that the beautiful Central Otago region has to offer. Arrowtown is just 15 minutes drive from Queenstown and 50 minutes from Wanaka. Idyllic Lake Hayes, perfect for swimming and boating, is just 10 minutes away.

Arrowtown itself is quiet and quaint with rich gold mining history. The beautiful Arrow River flows through the town, and is also a great swimming spot in summer. There are also many boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, and a delightful cinema!

Golf, wineries, and walking and cycling tracks complete the picture for the summer, while the three ski fields (Coronet Peak, Remarkables and Cardrona) are at your doorstep for the winter.

Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
