About this property

Nestled down a quiet lane, this charming, cosy, and convenient three-bedroom holiday home is the ideal base for your next Ohakune adventure, no matter the season. Welcome to Drasko’s Den!

After your days of hitting the slopes, you’ll love coming back to the warm and toasty ambience, thanks to the wood-burning fireplace. The open-plan living space offers a great space to unwind, with a Smart TV with Freeview, a DVD player, DVDs, and a variety of board games and books on hand at this Ohakune accommodation.

Feed the troops with a tasty meal prepared in the well-equipped kitchen that includes a slow cooker and steam boat pot, then gather around the dining room table to make your plan of action for the days ahead.

With a large drying room to stash your ski gear, and a washing machine and tumble dryer, this is a great spot for those seeking the snow this winter. Hop in the car and drive 21 minutes to Turoa ski field or 46 minutes to Whakapapa ski field.

There are plenty of great activities for the kids in Ohakune, visit the Ohakune Carrot Adventure Park or try out rock climbing at the Vertigo Adventure Centre, both a four-minute drive from Drasko’s Den.

If you’re here on a summer stay, there are some fantastic bush walks and cycle trails to explore. You’ll love the Mangawhero River Trail and Forest Walk, Te Pepe Bike Park and the Waitonga Falls Track or you can try your hand with some local trout fishing.

For your next escape to the snow, Drasko’s Den Awaits!
