The open-plan space features a well-equipped kitchen and dining table for four, while the sleeping quarters offer restful charm, both with queen-size double beds (the second one beneath the trullo’s conical roof). Other thoughtful additions include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, Smart TV and mosquito nets.

Set in the countryside just 3km from San Michele Salentino and only 20 minutes from Ostuni, La Città Bianca, this is an ideal base for exploring northern Salento. The protected shores of the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve are just a leisurely drive away, offering untouched beaches and clear Adriatic waters.

In the heart of the Puglian countryside, Trullo Levante offers a picturesque escape amid olive trees, just a stone’s throw from the charming village of San Michele Salentino (3km), an ideal location for visiting whitewashed towns, glorious coastline and some of the region’s most delicious food and wine experiences.

Start your mornings exploring the local delights of San Michele Salentino (3km), loved for its weekly market and atmospheric village square with cafe-bar terraces, or venture a little further to the lively town of San Vito dei Normanni (10km), where historic churches and local cafes invite leisurely strolls. For a wider choice of shops, dining, and postcard-perfect alleyways, the gleaming city of Ostuni (16km), also known as the “La Città Bianca”, is a must-see.

To the north, the Itria Valley is famed for its gently rolling hills, trulli-dotted landscapes and picturesque villages and towns. Discover the authentic charm of Ceglie Messapica (15km), renowned for its culinary heritage, or visit Martina Franca (33km), with its elegant Baroque architecture. A day trip to Alberobello, a unesco World Heritage Site just under an hour away, promises an unforgettable stroll among hundreds of traditional trulli dwellings.
