Trulli Trazzonara is consistently praised for its rustic charm, spaciousness, and beautiful pool area. Guests appreciate the attentive property manager, Lucia, and the villa's ability to comfortably accommodate large groups. The property's privacy and well-appointed amenities contribute to a relaxing and memorable stay.
Guests have described the property as 'very clean', indicating high standards of cleanliness. There are no reports of cleanliness issues, suggesting that guests are generally satisfied with the state of the property upon arrival.
While guests mention the peacefulness of the location and its proximity to local villages, there is not enough detailed feedback on the location to provide a comprehensive score.
The reviews highlight the comfort of the bedrooms and the ample private and common spaces. However, a mention of a lack of air-conditioning in some bedrooms suggests a slight deduction in the comfort score.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the pool and kitchen. However, there are mentions of maintenance issues such as a leak in the bathroom boiler, which affects the score slightly.
The property owners' and manager's attentiveness, including complimentary gifts, are frequently mentioned. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Trulli Trazzonara sits along a quiet country lane that leads to Monte Trazzonara, so benefits from total peace and quiet.
Hilltop Martina Franca (13km) is a fascinating town within the Istria Valley that has an historic centre made up of winding streets and whitewashed houses. There are also beautiful examples of baroque and rococo architecture to marvel at too. Explore the centuries-old town walls and their gates, which also act as a dividing line between the old town and the more modern part of Martina Franca.
The town of Ceglie Messapica (12km) is a foodie’s heaven, with its huge range of restaurants and pizzerias serving regional cuisine. It’s also one of the oldest towns in the whole of Puglia, meaning there’s plenty to tick off your historic sightseeing list. Discover ancient churches, beautiful palazzi and stunning Castello di Ceglie Messapica. Also visit Grotte di Montevicoli just outside Ceglie Messapica for an underground adventure.
Ostuni (24km) is also known as ‘The White City’, due to the old town’s whitewashed buildings. One of the most well-known historic landmarks is the 15th-century cathedral, so it’s a must-visit. A fresh fruit and vegetable market is held every Saturday and is a great way to rub shoulders with locals. If you visit Ostuni towards the end of August you have the chance to experience the Cavalcata di Sant'Oronzo festival.
For a day out at the beach, head to Villanova (32km) or Savelletri (40km). These coastal spots both offer sandy stretches and ideal swimming conditions in the clear, calm sea.
The Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve (45km) makes for a great day out. This coastal and marine reserve offers a visitor centre and museum, as well as the chance to see a variety of wildlife.
Also be sure to visit the city of Matera (87km) with its atmospheric caves. There’s also Lecce (90km), which is famous for its huge number of baroque buildings. Both cities are within a 90-minute drive.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Trulli Trazzonara outside of Martina Franca in Puglia. The property manager, Lucia, was fantastic. She made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival and was extremely patient as we traveled from the airport to the villa at night. She walked the property with us to make sure we knew where everything was and how to navigate nearby necessities. The property was well appointed with everything we needed for our week stay. The home had lovely linens, plush towels, and ample dishware for our party of 8...and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. We would without hesitation book this villa again!!!!

The villa was very comfortable with very good facilities and in a peaceful location. The only downsides were the lack of air-conditioning in the bedrooms in the main house and we had a leak in the bathroom boiler in the annexe opposite the main house at the beginning of our stay which took a few days to fix as we arrived on a Saturday. We enjoyed time by the pool, playing table tennis and extended family meals al fresco as well as days out to the local places of interest and a beach on the Adriatic side of Puglia.
