Within the village you will find a selection of pubs and shops, and views across Mulroy Bay. Within the surrounding area you will find Portsalon, with its famous golf course and world renowned beach and Malin Head which is Ireland's most northerly point.

The view was just fabulous, so relaxing just sitting watching nature do her thing! Highly recommend, particularly for anyone looking for a chill break, or I was thinking while I was there that it would be a perfect retreat for a writer!

.., I don t know why as this is an absolutely fabulous place. It definitely deserves 5 stars.. Owners are very helpful and kind. (We got caught up in the storm Eowyn, felt very safe in the cottage and owners were really good to us) The cottage is perfectly well equipped, beds are very comfy, the view is just stunning. If you want to enjoy Donegal, this is the place! I would highly recommend this house, you will not be disappointed. Just one little thing don t forget your hairdryer as there is not one in the house. We had a wonderful time and wish to thank yet again the owners of this beautiful place.

It is just the most beautiful peaceful place to stay. My dogs loved the large garden to play in. Lots of great places to visit nearby. We we definitely return to Ranny Roe.
