This compact cottage offers a delightful sitting room, where you can curl up during a winter’s evening in front of the woodburning fire. On the ground floor you will also find a cosy dining room and a well-equipped kitchen, housing all the necessities you will need during your stay. Completing the ground floor is a well-appointed bathroom, boasting a shower over bath, basin and WC. Upstairs, you will find two quaint bedrooms, comprising of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, each delightful spaces to unwind of an evening. Outside the cottage, the terrain is truly of south Donegal, sea breezes, beautiful beaches on your doorsteps, and dramatic landscapes. The cottage lies a short journey from the bustling tourist town of Donegal, with its wonderful craft shops, pubs and restaurants. The beach at Murvagh is stunning, with its excellent golf course nearby. Take a day trip along the coast to southwest Donegal, travelling through the fishing port of Killybegs, and on through the picturesque villages of Carrick and Kilcar, to the dramatic sea cliffs at Slieve League. Head south from Fuschia Cottage, and enjoy the many golden beaches on route to Sligo town, home to the famous poet W.B. Yeats, and brimming with amenities and activities. Return to Fuschia Cottage in the evenings feeling refreshed and relaxed and plan the following days endeavours. Let your south Donegal adventure begin!

Donegal Town is a market town situated where the River Eske flows into Donegal Bay. Here, you will find Donegal Castle and Murvagh Beach as well as a good selections of restaurants, pubs and shops to explore. For some Irish history you will be able to drive long the Glengesh Pass, while Slieve League, Glenveagh National Park and Castle and Malin Head are also worth a visit.

Note: This is a traditional olde world cottage, with low ceilings and some very low doorways and steps throughout the property, so care must be taken.
