Visit Lough Eske Castle hotel and Harveys Point hotel along the lakeshore and enjoy the wonderful cuisine and ambiance. Donegal Town, a bustling centre for tourism, is a short drive away. Visit its many shops, pubs, cafes. Take a day trip to south west Donegal, passing through the fishing port of Killybegs, and on through the villages of Kilcar,Carrick and Glencolumcille, arriving at the majestic sea cliffs at Slieve League. Travel north to the town of Ardara, famous for its traditional crafts and knitwear.
Visit the stunning beach and golf links at nearby Murvagh or the many other wonderful beaches in south Donegal and north Sligo.

Donegal Town is in the south of County Donegal, where the River Eske flows into Donegal Bay. The town is home to a castle and Murvagh Beach. The area is great for fishing, with numerous rivers and lakes available. Donegal Golf Club and Murvagh Links Course provide a stunning backdrop. The beach at Rossnowlagh is backed by Slieve League, framed by the coast of the Atlantic. For Irish scenery, drive along Glengesh Pass, with Slieve League, Glenveagh National Park and Castle and Malin Head, or enjoy Donegal Festival in July or the Taste of Donegal Food Festival in Late August.
