Step outside and take in the spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, plus the Gweedore area is populated with endless sandy beaches to stroll along, stunning seascapes to soak up, and some of the most impressive mountains in the land including Ireland’s tallest, Mount Errigil, which is on your doorstep if you fancy testing your stamina! There are plenty of attractions for all ages within easy reach of this Donegal cottage, such as Glenveagh National Park, The Poison Glen, and the shipwreck at Bunbeg to mention a few; you will be sure of a great day out with your nearest and dearest. The Irish-speaking district of Gweedore consists of the villages Bunbeg, Derrybeg, Dunlewey, Crolly and Brinlack. Gweedore is situated below Mount Errigal and boasts sandy beaches and rugged cliffs. Close by are both Ards Forest Park and Glenveagh National Park, and also in the area are golf and fishing.
