This bright and airy space boasts huge sliding doors that showcase the estuary views and lead onto the large patio and lawn garden, ideal for alfresco dining in the summertime. Spend evenings relaxing in the seating area, enjoying a movie night on the wall-mounted TV, resting above the feature fireplace, as you kick back on one of the sofas, or unwind in the armchair with a great book. The sleek kitchen boasts porcelain tiled floors, granite countertops and stylish neutral tones, fully-equipped with all the appliances you could need for a self-catering stay, with a small pantry of ingredients, a coffee machine and even an air fryer as thoughtful additions. Enjoy meals together at the breakfast bar-style seating, offering plenty of space for all, while the dishwasher can take care of any washing up and the adjoining utility offers a washing machine, for your convenience, as well as a back door which again leads onto the impressive garden. Ballyshannon is just five minutes from the property, resting at the mouth of the River Erne, where you can enjoy peaceful riverside strolls whilst enjoying the panoramic views of mountains, lakes and forests. There is a good selection of shops for picking up any essentials, as well as bars, pubs and restaurants, should you wish to have a night off from cooking. Ballyshannon is Ireland's oldest town, and home to one of the country's longest-running events, the annual Ballyshannon Folk & Traditional Music Festival, which attracts visitors from far and wide in the summer. Just next to the town, Assaroe Lake is a great spot for watersports enthusiasts, where you can try your hand at kayaking and canoeing, along with excellent fishing opportunities. Head to Bundoran to explore the soft white sand of Tullan Strand, which boasts excellent surfing opportunities and deep sea fishing, and for a family day out, head to the water park, adventure park, bowling alley or hit a round of golf at the 18-hole coastal golf course, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. There are also golf courses at Murvagh which is 6 miles away and Enniskillen which is 18 miles away. The market town of Donegal is a short drive away, home to an imposing castle, the Donegal Railway Heritage Centre and Murvagh Beach, which is the perfect place to relax on a summer's day. Nearby Rossnowlagh boasts a Blue Flag-awarded beach, from which you can take a coastal walks along the coastal peninsula towards the dramatic cliffs of Slieve League.
