In the centre of the room is a matching dining table. Continue into the comfortable lounge with antique ornaments, an eye-catching exposed stone fireplace and a characterful detailed wood burner. This space is decorated in neutral tones, plus wooden furnishings. Completing the interior is a family bathroom and three bedrooms – two doubles, one with an en-suite, and a twin room. Outside is a spacious, partially enclosed garden with a patio area, furniture, and a BBQ. At the bottom of the garden is a trickling stream.
During your stay in County Cavan, you’ll be just 1 mile from the market town of Bailieborough where you can stop for a bite to eat at a local restaurant or cafe, browse the shops and stroll around the lake. Put on your hiking boots and follow the walking trails through Bailieborough Demesne (2 miles) or around the Castle Lake Walks (3.5 miles) – where you can also enjoy a spot of fishing. Disappear into the Moyer mountains and visit the Loughanleagh and Muff Heritage Trust (5.5 miles).
