Outside makes a lovely space to spend your evenings in the warmer months, with furniture and a barbecue to give you an alternative dining arrange-ment during your stay. When it is time to sleep, head to the bedroom, which features a double bed, and get some rest ahead of an adventurous day. In the morning, wake up with a refreshing shower in the en-suite, before making your way outside to enjoy a coffee in the crisp morning air. The Lodge rests near the border of County Tipperary and County Kilkenny, meaning you can spend your break exploring attractions far and wide with a wealth of attractions in driving distance. Just a short way from the property you can visit the dramatic Rock of Cashel and the charming Cashel Folk Village for an afternoon in the past. Moving over the county border and into the city of Kilken-ny, you will find plenty of pubs and restaurants for the days you just don't fancy cooking, as well as a range of historical attractions including the grand Kilkenny Castle, the imposing Cathedral Church of St Canice & Round Tower, and the picture-perfect Rothe House and Garden. Branching further afield, you can take a trip to the city of Waterford for even more Irish culture at Waterford Treas-ures: Medieval Museum, where costumed re-enactors bring the stories to life, or the rugged Re-ginald's Tower, a 13th-century fortress which is now a museum. Ireland's scenic landscapes also means there are plenty of walking and cycling routes to be enjoyed, such as the disused railway, Waterford Greenway or perhaps stay closer to your home-from-home and set out on foot with a delicious packed lunch! Ballingarry (Irish: Baile a Gharra) is a peaceful countryside village in County Tipperary, close to the Kilkenny border. The community, which is located between Kilkenny and Cashel, is recognised for its rich history and coal mining background. The nearby takeaway, as well as a few pubs and restaurants in the region, provide dining alternatives, while the nearby supermarket provides essentials. Kilkenny Castle, a variety of museums and other historical buildings and tours, as well as a good selection of pubs and cafes, are all located just outside of the village. A more laid-back day out may be found in the surrounding countryside, where an abundance of walking and cycling paths make for a delightful day out for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of sites to see along the way.
