For the hill walker enthusiast, the property is located near the picturesque Nire valley with looped mountain walks of varying degrees of difficulty to suit all abilities including the Nire lakes and the renowned Crottys Lake and Coumshingaun. Perhaps the finest example of a Corrie lake in Europe! Coffeys is only a 45 min drive from one of Irelands most visited heritage sites, the Rock of Cashel. Lismore castle, the Vee pass, Cahir castle, the Swiss cottage, Mitchelstown caves, Mount Mellary Abbey, Ardmore cliff walk taking in St.Declans round tower, the Copper coast UNESCO global geopark and then for the beaches, Clonea strand, Stradbally cove, Whiting bay. Blackwater ECO boat tours. The Mahon Falls taking in the “magic road”. The Viking district in Irelands oldest city-Waterford is less than an hour away.
