Nestled near the bustling town of Bruff, in County Limerick, Ireland, is this superb detached cottage. Lynchpin Cottage is in a rural setting, surrounded by stunning countryside fields. Internally, the property has been completely renovated into a stylish holiday home for families or a group of friends. The open-plan interior has a welcoming sitting room with a sofa and two armchairs to relax in of an evening, with the delightful woodburning stove to keep you warm during those chilly winter months. The dining area rests behind, with seating for six people to enjoy a lovely home-cooked meal or to plan the day's events. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed to the rear of the cottage, with all the appliances you could need to rustle up a delicious meal for your loved ones - and a convenient utility area housing the laundry facilities. Continuing to impress is a lovely ground-floor family room, with a double and single bed, and a wet room with a large shower. The first floor houses two further double bedrooms, both with their own basins and wonderful views across the surrounding countryside fields. While you're in this picturesque location, use the opportunity for walking or cycling. Or take a drive toward the seasonal Terra Nova Fairy Garden, in Dromin, Kilmallock, your little ones will love this garden, with its small houses and fairy statues situated around the landscaped grounds. Bruff is the ancestral home of the Fitzgerald Kennedy family, There is the Thomas Fitzgerald centre in Bruff to discover the Kennedy family. Find out about Thomas Fitzgerald who emigrated from Bruff in 1852 and was the grandfather of the 35th president of the United States. Take a trip into Limerick city centre for plenty of historical sites and amenities nearby. Why not visit the Old Irish Ways Museum in Caherguillamore to discover more about Ireland's long and detailed history about everyday life on this beautiful Island.. Bruff is a town in County Limerick, Ireland, situated on the Morning Star river. Historical artefacts have been found in the area which date back to the Stone Age, dating this town about 2.5 million years old. Famously, John F. Kennedy was a descendant of the Fitzgeralds of Bruff, with one of its pubs named after him, 'The Kennedy Rooms'. Local amenities include a local store and a selection of pubs and restaurants. With easy access to the centre of Limerick.
