The cottage makes a comfortable base with plenty of space for four. Step into the homely lounge where there’s a wood burner, a TV, sofas and armchairs to relax on. You’ll find everything you need to cook delicious meals and do your laundry in the spacious kitchen/diner, and a rustic dining table and chairs for sociable mealtimes. Wander into the village to the pub with a restaurant, just over 150 metres away, and to the beach where the kids can enjoy aqua splash and walk around the marinas and harbour. Visit the 13th-century Kennedy Tower House in Dromineer, go sailing and fishing on the lough, or have a go at a new water sport during your stay. Pop to the town of Nenagh (6 miles), home to a range of shops, restaurants, a cinema, and a swimming pool/leisure centre. Explore the stunning scenery on pretty walks along Lough Derg Way and cycle along the North Tipperary Cycle Route.
