This detached holiday home is a lovely bungalow that sleeps six people and is situated near to the village of Killavullen, County Cork, nine miles from the market town of Mallow. This three bed bungalow provides a modern haven in the Killavullen countryside. Set in 15 acres of land, it’s the ideal property for both couples or a family looking to get away from it all for a while. There is a large kitchen with electric oven and dining area that comfortably seats everyone, a utility room with washing machine and a sitting room complete with open fire, two sofas and a TV .
There’s also a bathroom with hand-held shower and three bedrooms, two of which are doubles and one is a single with an additional fold-out single bed, as well as an en-suite. Completing the property is a large open-plan storage/children's play area in the converted loft space. There is also access to 15 acres of land, complete with a seating area, and its very own stream to complement relaxing afternoons sat outside. There is also ample off-road parking for a number of vehicles. Killavullen is fairly remote, set away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but there is a small shop for emergency supplies and a pub to be found in the centre of the village.
However, you're only a fifteen-minute car journey from the town of Mallow, which is home to a number of traditional Irish pubs, as well as two castles and a number of priories all of which hold a lot of historical importance to the area. If you’re willing to travel a bit further afield, you can visit Ireland’s third city, Cork, just a 40-minute drive away, where you’ll find an opera house, various pubs and restaurants, plus many other attractions. This bungalow set deep in the Cork countryside is the ideal destination for that relaxing country getaway. You’re surrounded by tranquility, yet still have all the conveniences of modern life available to you, and have one of the biggest and most thriving cities in Ireland less than an hour's drive away.

Beautiful home and grounds. Very private. Unfortunately four adults could only share the en suite shower in one of the bedrooms. The shared bathroom had no water pressure for the hand held shower hose. No hot water. Only two sets of towels. No television. Satellite no working. We were in contact with the owners and promised these above issues would be addressed but alas they were not. It's a shame really.

It is an isolated home in a beautiful setting & really comfortable. It was getting a bit nippy so we were totally thankful the heating was set to come on a couple of times a day. We will be back.

Manicured lawns, neat and tidy appearance. The house was of grand proportions and style. The Attic was of huge proportions and would be a dream cubby for children. Once again everything was clean, tidy and well equipped for our needs of 2 people. We enjoyed our stay and only wished we had allowed longer to enjoy the the opulent ambience. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommended to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings l.
