Castletownbere offers guests an array of things to see and do, from boat trips from its harbour to the quaint Bere Island, to walks spanning weaving past Puxley Manor, Plage de Dunboy Forest, Derreenataggart Stone Circle and across Pullen Harbour Bog. The town also offers a great range of amenities, with its friendly bars, well-stocked shops and variety of eateries suiting anyone's tastes. Spend a day out immersed in history in Allihies, home to the outstanding Allihies Copper Mine Museum, and the scenic Copper Mine Trail that takes you past the historic mine shaft; the townland also offers a gorgeous beach, where you can soak up the sun's rays after your walk.
