Kissane's Cottage in Killarney is highly praised for its spaciousness, ideal location, and cleanliness. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful owner, John, and the property's suitability for exploring Kerry. While the cottage offers a comfortable stay, some guests suggest improvements in bed quality and clearer signage for easier arrival.
The property is consistently described as spotlessly clean, indicating high standards of cleanliness maintained by the owner.
The cottage's location is frequently commended for being perfect for sightseeing in Kerry, with easy access to local attractions and a quiet setting.
Overall, the cottage is considered comfortable and spacious. However, several reviews mention the need for better mattresses and bed linen, which affects the comfort score.
Facilities like the kitchen and heating are well-received, but there are comments about slow Wi-Fi and some maintenance issues with beds, which slightly lower the score.
While the reviews reflect a helpful and welcoming owner, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that could be evaluated under this category, hence the score is set to null.

We were attending a wedding at Dunloe Hotel only a short drive away. Beautiful scenery and the house was fantastic. John is a fantastic host, very helpful and he also surprised us with his fantastic wood burning jacuzzi which he had lit and pre-heated for our arrival. This was definitely the highlight of the stay, an excellent addition for the weekend. Thanks again John!
