There are a couple of pubs within 500 metres of the cottage, where you can enjoy a drink or grab some food before you head off into the countryside to explore the many walking routes. Visit the spectacular waterfall, O’Sullivans Cascade (3.5 miles) where you can take a refreshing dip. There is plenty to see around Lough Leane which is a haven for wildlife, and from the town of Killarney (8 miles), you can hire kayaks or paddleboards.
