A wonderful property for a couple looking for a romantic break away, where you can walk down from the front garden to the water’s edge and watch the boats glide by. Bright and airy and all on the ground floor, with an en-suite bedroom in one half and an open plan living area with kitchen, breakfast bar and sitting area in the other, you will have all the basics close to hand to get your Irish getaway off to a great start. Rustle up a quick breakfast and a couple of packed lunches before heading out for the day and discovering what the surrounding area has to offer. On your way back why not stop in at a local shop, grab some choice ingredients and then prepare a tasty dinner that the two of you can enjoy over a nice glass of wine while discussing the highlights of the day. Sit out in one of the two small sun rooms with a good book or why not go out to the garden with a picnic and enjoy the cool summer’s breeze? Kilrush has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants, for you to try out where you can experience the local culture, and listen to some good Irish music. Explore the surrounding area and visit the likes of Kilkee and Doonbeg, home to the Trump International Golf Links. Drive along the world famous Wild Atlantic Way and stop in at one of the route’s highlights, the stunning Cliffs of Moher which are a must see when in the area. A great coastal cottage and a perfect base for you to start your adventure.

Kilrush is a coastal town set in County Clare and boasts a marina, Heritage Centre, shops, pubs, restaurants and a golf course. Scattery Island is close by and can be accessed via a ferry and the seaside resort of Kilkee is only nine miles away.
