    About this property

An immaculately-presented, early 20th century, semi-detached cottage in the heart of Kilmihil, a friendly and welcoming village in County Clare. This Kilmihil cottage offers bright and airy accommodation for groups of friends or families who wish to immerse themselves in the culture and heritage of County Clare. This cottage in Kilmihil is set over three floors and consists of four first floor bedrooms with en-suites and two single rooms on the second floor, making it very family-friendly. The homely kitchen with dining area comes well equipped, and the spacious sitting room is ideal for kicking back and relaxing in the warmth from the woodburning stove. To the rear of this Kilmihil cottage is an enclosed patio area where the children can play safely, whilst to the side is a private entrance for parking for up to four cars. The village of Kilmihil has a variety of shops and pubs and is a peaceful place to spend your west Clare holiday. The village holds the annual Festival of Fun and draws in a large number of visitors each year. You can enjoy a vintage rally, a colourful parade and a raft race on the nearby Knockalough Lake. Just a hop and a skip away is the seaside village of Kilkee where you can stroll along the sandy beach, spend a day with the children in Waterworld, and if you have any cobwebs that need dusting off, a brisk walk along the cliff will take your breath away! There are also excellent golf courses nearby at Kilrush, Kilkee and Doonbeg. A peaceful and charming place to rest and recharge during your Clare holiday.

Renowned for its Holy Shrine, Kilmihil is a pretty West Clare village which makes an attractive quiet base for enjoying the attractions of County Clare. Kilkee has a sandy beach with great surfing, and a popular leisure centre, and for breathtaking scenery and wonderful wildlife take a trip to the Cliffs of Moher. "The kids were happy as there were toys provided & a safe enclosed back yard. The house is of a very high standard & the owner had left some fresh scones, bread, milk, jam & butter, an absolute treat after our journey. The house is well kitted out, best I've seen. Only issue is if you have mobilty problems, the stairs would be too steep."
