The mediaeval market town of Roscrea, which is close by, provides tourists with a wide variety of historical landmarks, natural beauty, and cultural attractions, including The Fancroft Mills and Gardens, Roscrea Castle, the High Cross, the Round Tower, and a top-notch golf club.
