Gorey 8 miles. A delightful large detached house situated on the Wexford/Wicklow border, close to the town of Gorey. Situated in the beautiful country side with spectacular mountain views. This is an ideal house for a family gathering or group of friends to get away from it all. You will be spoilt for choice of what to do, with a selection of local woods and mountain walks on your door step. Or decide to travel a little further, go one way and you have a selection of sandy beaches, Courtown and Ballymoney beach are only 10 miles away. Or go the other way and you have the Wicklow mountains and spectacular Glendalough to ramble. The lively town of Gorey is only 8 miles away, where you will be spoilt with the large selection of impressive restaurants and ladies you are in for a treat if shopping is your thing, Gorey is well renowned for its selection of beautiful boutiques. With Dublin only an hour away you have the best of everything. On the ground floor you have a well equipped large family kitchen, to cook up a feast after a day of adventure and sit down at the large kitchen table to plan the next days adventures. Off the kitchen there is a small sun room which has another small table and chairs and small sofa, ideal spot for kids to dine! Off the entrance hall you have a comfortable sitting room with wood burning stove to cosy up to on a chilly evening. Upstairs there are a further 3 spacious double rooms, 2 of which are ensuite, along with a bunk room which has a single on top and double on the bottom. So plenty of sleeping accommodation to suit everyone. Upstairs also there is the family bathroom. Outside there is a lovely patio area to enjoy a BBQ on a nice summer's evening. While the kids run around the spacious garden, the adults can sit back and enjoy the spectacular views. This is a super base for a large family or group of friends to get together for either an action packed holiday or chill out and enjoy the peaceful countryside.
Gorey in County Wexford has plenty to see and do. With restaurants and pubs to enjoy, and golf and fishing on offer, there is something for everybody. Take a walk through the Courtown Woods, enjoy a picnic by the Owenavarro River or take a trip to Courtown Harbour with its sandy beaches. A short drive will take you to County Wicklow and the Wicklow Mountains National Park, while Dublin is only an hour's drive away.
