Dive into "the cemetery of a thousand ships" between Hook Head and Carnsore Point—the perfect site for some underwater exploration. Ballyteigue, located just outside of the hamlet, is home to some of the best sand dunes in the south-east of the country and is a short distance from the resort's sandy beaches.
