The town of Graiguenamanagh is located in south-east Ireland, on the boundary of counties Kilkenny and Carlow. Resting by the River Barrow, one of Ireland's most picturesque waterways, surrounded by gorgeous scenery and home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. The river itself hosts an annual regatta and is perfect for swimming, as well as a variety of watersports like canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding, as well as whitewater rafting for those wanting adventure. The Barrow Way, a magnificent long-distance walk with a towpath that was originally used to pull barges and vessels by horse, is a relative hidden gem.
