The old school house is well planned out and a great central spot for exploring the Midlands of Ireland. Biggest issue is the spiders in the house, while no fear of spiders it definitely made us unable to relax completely. Also oven would need updated as takes ages to cook anything.

Refurbishment done so well. Loved our stay.

The only problem we had was with the huge quantity of spiders in the house, we were going to use a spare blanked that was stored on top of a wardrobe in one of the twin rooms until we took it down and gasped at the amount of spiders and moths when we opened it out, we then quickly returned it to the top of the wardrobe. The School could do with a monthly deep clean down and especially all the spiders removed. We nicknamed the School Hotel Transylvania. We did enjoy our stay and would recommend it to others.
