While you're in the area, make sure you take a day trip towards Westport, described as an oasis in western Ireland. Another must-see location is Kylemore Abbey, a dramatic Benedictine monastery, a fantastic setting on the edge of a lake with a Victorian walled garden, tea rooms and a shop to explore. Also enjoy a trip to Clifden, an excellent tourist hub with a selection of shops and supermarkets for picking up some essentials, as well as a choice of pubs for that fine dining experience. Tully is a small village on the Renvyle Peninsula in County Galway, Ireland. It has a post office, supermarket and local pub for all of your amenities. Further afield is the coastal town of Clifden which has a larger selection of shops and pubs, as well as an art gallery and museum for a spot of culture. For some long walks and cycling opportunities Connemara National Park is the perfect choice for a day trip.
