Outside this delightful cottage is a private established lawned garden which is dappled by the sycamore trees that surround the cottage, a perfect place to relax with a good book and enjoy the sunshine. The pretty seaside village of Kinvara is just a five-minute drive away. Other nearby attractions are the Connemara National Park and the city of Galway is only 15 miles away. Also a short drive down the road is the village of Kilcolgan, home to the Moran Oyster Cottage, a thatched cottage dating back over 250 years and now offering freshly-caught seafood. Located in between the villages of Kilcolgan and Kinvarra lies Ballinderreen in south Galway. The village has a shop and a pub and is close to the sandy beach at Tracht, and Morans Oyster Cottage, a delightful thatched cottage that has been turned into a charming restaurant.
