Retire to the comfortable sitting room with multi-fuel stove and plan your following day endeavours. Outside the cottage, the terrain is truly of The Wild Atlantic Way, sea breezes, ocean views, golden beaches and rolling mountains. Travel the short distance south west to Belmullet at the entrance to the Mullet Peninsula. Enjoy the wonderful coastal drive along Blacksod Bay. Take a day trip through neighbouring villages of Belderrig, Glenamoy and Ballycastle and onto the historic town of Killala. A short distance will bring you to the wonderful beach at Enniscrone and home via the bustling town of Ballina with its many shops, cafes and restaurants. Visit nearby Ballycroy National Park with its rugged terrain and scenic tracks and trails. Achill Island is to the south and boasts wonderful scenery and beaches. Also in the area are Carne Links golf course, a number of beaches, boat hire in Bellmullet and a leisure centre, along with a swimming pool at Broadhaven Bay Hotel, which is within a 15 minute drive. Return to Bayview in the evenings, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Let your Irish adventure begin!

Pulathomas is a tiny hamlet, nestled in the north west corner of Co Mayo. The Atlantic ocean cuts deep into Broadhaven Bay at this point creating beautiful scenery and wonderful beaches. Further west the bustling town of Belmullet beckons. The coast road from Pulathomas winds its way through Glenamoy, Belderrig and Ballycastle. The Ceide Fields, an archaeological site with neolithical landscape and visitor centre is close to Ballycastle. Travel further along the coast to the quaint town of Killala and nearby Enniscrone with its beautiful beach.
