Guests say

Dromore West Cottage is a spacious property with a lovely garden, praised for its cleanliness and warm welcome. It serves as a good base for exploring the area, with proximity to scenic locations and local amenities. The cottage's comfort and facilities generally meet guests' expectations, though some noted areas for improvement.

Most guests found the cottage to be spotlessly clean and well taken care of, with only a few mentioning a damp smell and musky duvets, suggesting minor inconsistencies.

The location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to scenic spots and the village, though the accessibility for the elderly and distance to shops were concerns for some.

The cottage is generally found to be comfortable and spacious, with a warm heating system. However, some guests mentioned uncomfortable beds and cold mornings, indicating room for improvement.

Facilities like the kitchen and secure parking are well-received, but several guests noted a lack of essentials, broken fixtures, and insufficient heating, pointing to a need for better maintenance.

While guests appreciated the warm welcome, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness.

The cottage, which is a bungalow was fine, because of persons demeanor and rules we felt uncomfortable while being there with children, and the rubbish we all should recycle but we still have waste like food and nappies, but no bin for waste, no soap and saying I left you two toilet rolls is abit much it's not a charity or free house their running, their making money so spend a couple of euros on toilet roll and hand soap and dishwashing liquid and bin bags and put rule plaque away leave no smoking sign up, they live next door so felt supervised and uncomfortable not happy in house, would not recommended

The house was spacious and clean which was really nice, but there was absolutely no essentials. After driving over 5 hours from the south of the country, we had to pack the kids back in the car to go buy hand soap, toilet paper, washing up liquid, bin bags, paper towels and so on. it was just a bit disappointing as the house itself was lovely but that did put a negative note on arrival, and that really was the first time in 15 years that happened, unless that s the norm and we have just been lucky so far but i think in that case, people should be made aware beforehand so they can come prepared. I do think a minimum amount of essentials should be required for all summer rentals, product such as anti bacterial sprays, cloths, toilet gel, it s just not nice to go on holidays and go shopping for those, not when you just need them for a week
