About this property

Located on the outskirts of Rhodes town, Villa Ixia offers an idyllic holiday retreat. Blending modern styles with home comforts, this luxury villa is perfect for a group of friends or family that want to relax in style, whilst having the chance to explore the stunning surrounding areas.

Large glass windows and doors bring the diverse landscapes inside, as though the interior and exterior are blending together, creating one unique, open space, perfect for creating unforgettable memories.

Spread over two floors, Villa Ixia is filled with sophisticated furnishings, luxury materials and considered lighting, bringing a calm, elegant atmosphere to each room. On the ground floor there is a spacious, open-plan kitchen, fully-equipped and with plenty of room for several guests to cook together. The breakfast bar encourages guests to gather around and socialise, so no one gets left cooking alone! Next to the kitchen is a large dining table, with warm, low-level lighting, creating an intimate atmosphere, perfect for evening meals with your loved ones. Down two steps, yet remaining open-plan, the living room has a cosy ambience, with comfy sofas and pouffe’s arranged around a fireplace and flat-screen television.

Sleeping six guests, all three of the villa’s bedrooms are large and luxurious, with one en-suite bathroom, as well as a separate family bathroom to be shared by the remaining guests. Bright and airy, the bedrooms have everything you need for a tranquil stay and a great night sleep!

The villa is located at one of the most tranquil and privileged spots on the island within the area of the Monte Smith Hill, overlooking the majestic blue of the Aegean Sea. The spacious terrace takes full advantage of the setting, with picturesque views from every corner. Whether you are relaxing in the private pool, firing up the barbecue or sunbathing on a lounger, you can enjoy this peaceful setting, letting yourself completely relax. The villa also boasts a large entertaining area with space to dine al-fresco.

Villa Ixia has something for every guest, a beautiful island retreat, ideal for those looking to escape busy day to day lives yet wanting to remain close to the Rhode’s charming towns and landscapes.Hugely popular as a tourist destination, Rhodes is an island with more than its fair share of natural beauty and landmark sights. Easy to reach, with an international airport, Diagoras, about 20 minutes’ drive from the capital, it would be a shame to miss out on discovering its charms for yourself.

The town of Rhodes is as good a place to start as any and lies on the northern tip of the island. A walk along the medieval walls of the Old Town will offer you some beautiful views, accessible from the must-see Palace of the Grand Masters. Part of a World Heritage Site, this is also the location of a fine museum which offers the chance to familiarise yourself with Rhodian history, extending as far back as the 3rd century BC.

Another museum worth checking out is the Museum of Modern Greek Art, with an eclectic collection only rivalled by Athens. The New Town area is visually appealing itself, with an Art Deco influence present in much of its architecture. Mandráki harbour is the home of Evangelismós Cathedral, where you can find some impressive frescoes.

Along the coast, Lindos Acropolis is as spectacular as the coastal views it enjoys, and it definitely is worth seeing. Down the coast, you also have resorts such as Ammoudes, Kolympia and, perhaps best-known, Faliraki. While its reputation may precede it, this is not the hedonism capital it once was. A children’s water-park and the beautiful Anthony Quinn Bay may tempt you there during the day, and an aquarium and scuba-diving school also embrace the aquatic theme.

At the very southern tip of the island, Prasonisi’s location – dividing the Aegean and the Mediterranean – is considered prime windsurfing territory. But if that sounds a little too exhilarating, Rhodes’ more sedate attractions like the Valley of the Butterflies, numerous wineries and the seven springs of the wonderfully scenic Epta Piges nature reserve, will provide just as pleasant a day out.The Villa
