About this property

Villa Elia has been furnished to an extremely high standard by its owner, who took their inspiration from travels around the Far East and Europe. Tasteful and comfortable furnishings are balanced with traditional local design and materials to create an airy and light interior.

As with all the Orchard Villas, Elia is a split level property, with balconies to all first floor bedrooms and lovely sea views over the olive trees. The large terrace on the ground floor comes with comfortable seating, dining furniture, a pergola and table tennis table. Steps from the terrace lead down to the infinity pool below, with a pool house and a changing and utility area.

If you’d like to stretch your legs and soak up the sun, the sparkling waters of Yialiskari Bay are just a six or seven minute walk away down a rough track. On your way, stop to catch your breath and admire the views on the garden benches provided as you ramble down the hill. Another walk from the villa takes you to the beautiful bay of Agni, where you’ll find a number of tavernas offering local, fresh food. Again, the walk is down a rough, unmade track.

If you are celebrating a special occasion such as an anniversary, birthday or honeymoon, let us know and we will make sure you receive flowers, wine and cake on your arrival. We will also give you a complimentary dinner for two in a local tavern with a bottle of wine, subject to notification in writing at the time of booking and a minimum stay of 7 nights. Please note, the birthday or anniversary must occur during the holiday.

Attractions and nearby amenities

The beauty and tranquillity of this glorious coastline are well known and there is plenty to do in this wonderful, unspoilt environment.

The small village of Gimari nearby has a bakery where you’ll find freshly baked bread for the morning breakfast.

The fishing town of Agni is just a short walk down a rough, unmade track. You’ll find a choice of waterside tavernas offering fresh, locally caught fish and traditional cuisine.

The resort of Kalami is within easy reach by car or boat. The author Lawrence Durrell lived here and wrote a number of his books.

Agni and Kalami are both accessible by car, but if you’d prefer to travel in a more traditional way, boat hire is available from Yialiskari Bay.
