Nearby Chalikounas Beach is also known for its golden sands and crystal-clear Ionian waters. It is a popular spot for watersports, including kite surfing, or simply enjoying the serene coastline.

For a livelier atmosphere, Agios Georgios offers a great selection of restaurants, cafés, and bars, along with a diving club, windsurfing centre, boat hire, quad biking, and a variety of local shops. The traditional villages of Pagi and Afiones are also within easy reach and well worth exploring.
