Fiskardo, on the northern tip of Kefalonia, is a beautifully preserved village with a distinctive charm. As the only settlement to survive the 1953 earthquake, it retains its original Venetian architecture, where pastel-hued façades line cobbled lanes dotted with boutique shops, galleries and artisan studios. Its lively harbour, framed by fishing boats and sleek yachts, is home to a selection of excellent restaurants, bars and cafés offering fresh seafood, traditional Greek fare and international cuisine.

The waterfront promenade is perfect for a sunset stroll, while the surrounding coastline is a haven for sailing, with easy access to yacht charters and hidden coves. Just a short drive away, Emblisi Beach’s turquoise waters and limestone cliffs provide ideal conditions for swimming and snorkelling.
