About this property

If you love the sound of the sea, then make sure your vacation in Villa Cloves 1, the most luxurious beachfront property, found in the tiny village of Mades on the north coast of the Greek island of Crete. Villa Cloves 1 is the first of five elegant, architect-designed, connected properties, created in a wave-like structure, which reflects its natural surroundings.

These three-storey villas are built out of traditional stone, with tall walls for privacy and security. Private parking and complimentary air conditioning and Wi-Fi come as standard. The Villa Cloves are uniquely designed, maximising minimalism, with sharply angled walls, furnished with uber-contemporary pieces, eclectic modern art and artefacts, and some seriously funky lighting. The décor is soothing earth tones of subtle shades of beige and greys, with a contrasting monochrome of crisp whites and deep blacks. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors flood the properties with lots of natural light and give access to private pool terraces, and sea-view balconies. Each villa has its own private infinity swimming pool and spacious sea-view outdoor living space. This small complex comes with a Guest Centre and a concierge service team that can arrange well almost anything, from limousine transfers and private chefs to yacht charters and yoga lessons. The very best thing is the beachfront location, simply step out of your villa, take a few steps to the shore, and dip your toes into the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea.

Villa Cloves 1 has four spacious ensuite double bedrooms, and can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests in some styles, ideal for a large family or group of friends sharing. Enter the villa at the ground floor level, where there is a light and airy open-plan living space. The sea view seating area has a smart black sofa, a black leather armchair, matching coffee tables, and a flat-screen television. The white marble-topped dining table and chairs are ideal for some impressive indoor entertaining. There is a separate slate black, fully equipped kitchen, fitted with all the latest appliances that you will need to cater for your holiday, including that must-have Nespresso coffee maker. In the hallway, there is a stationary bicycle, where you can work off the extra holiday indulgence intake.

Take the stairs to the first floor, where you will find two beautifully-appointed spacious bedrooms with huge double beds, free-standing open wardrobes, ensuite ultra-modern bathrooms with walk-in rain showers, and fabulously furnished sea view balconies. Take the stairs to the lower floor, where there are two further large ensuite double bedrooms, and a separate seating and dining area with a small kitchenette.
