For those looking for a wider choice of nightlife, the bustling resort of Platanias is less than fifteen minutes away by car, it’s main street is lined with late-night bars and some of the most popular nightclubs on Crete. Chania itself is just a little further along the coastline, with its picturesque Venetian harbour, it really is a must visit.

The ultra-cool villa boasts stylish interiors and furnishings with a range of modern amenities. Villa Kolymbari can sleep up to six guests across three bedrooms. On the ground floor is the main living accommodation which comprises of a large, open-plan living and dining room with patio doors leading to the pool. Also on this level is the modern fitted kitchen with a useful breakfast bar which is a great spot from which to enjoy your morning coffee. The first of the twin bedrooms is also on the ground floor, this room has access to a private terrace complete with table and chairs, the bed is a handy zip-link and so can be made into a double bed if needed as well as a family bathroom. Upstairs, on the first floor is the master bedroom which is complete with a large double bed and luxury en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub. Also upstairs is a further twin or zip-link double bedroom which also comes complete with a useful en-suite bathroom. There is a large terrace area which is accessible by both bedrooms and  is an ideal location to enjoy a cool drink while admiring the beautiful sunset views.

Outside, is the large private swimming pool, there is a shallow children’s section which is fantastic for those travelling with little ones. An addition for 2018 is a new 80sq m2 playground area and table tennis, within a fenced area accessible from the garden area.  There is also a dining area complete with barbecue which is perfect for alfresco dining on a summers afternoon under the shade of the modern pergola.
