The villa is located in the small village of Kokkino Chorio; this stunning location is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, whilst remaining nearby all the amenities the larger towns have to offer.

Inside, Villa Water offers a careful balance of modern styles and intimate features. On the ground floor, a large open-plan living area offers guests the opportunity to co-exist in one space, enjoying each other’s company even when occupied with different tasks. The kitchen is sleek and stylish, with all the equipment you need to enjoy cooking as a family. A circular dining table sits within the kitchen, laid out for intimate meals as a group.

A contemporary fireplace sits in the open divide between the dining and lounge area adding a warmth and homeliness to the otherwise modern space. Comfortable sofas sit in the brightest corner of the room, with large sliding glass doors out to the terrace, with the panoramic views often stealing the show from the flat-screen television!

Each of the bedrooms throughout the villa is modern and stylish, with touches of colour and soft fabrics, creating a warm atmosphere for you to settle into. Each of the rooms has a private bathroom and access to a private terrace, so individuals and couples can enjoy both the privacy of their bedroom as well as the chance to enjoy the sunshine alone.

Outside, the elegant atmosphere continues, with each corner of the terrace catching rays of sunshine and offering breath-taking sea views. Guests can relax in the large private pool, before drying off on one of the luxurious sun loungers. Evenings are best spent socialising outdoors, barbecuing late into the night and admiring the magnificent sunsets on the horizon. Villa Water has a fabulous location in the small village of Kokkino Chorio, close to the larger village of Plaka where helpful amenities and picturesque pebbled beaches can be found. A little further along the coastline, just a 5-minute car journey away, is the resort of Almyrida which boasts a wider range of amenities as well as clean, family-friendly sandy beaches. Chania itself is just forty minutes away by car, with its picturesque Venetian harbour, it really is a must visit. Chania International Airport is conveniently situated just forty-five minutes away.

With gorges to be walked, ancient sites to be visited, time trodden villages to be discovered, and stunning sandy beaches to be lazed upon, this is the perfect Greek destination for holidaymakers of any age. Plus, food is in abundance. Look out for fresh seafood and traditional Greek moussaka.

The villa is 30km from the beautiful city of Chania. There you’ll find a charming Venetian Harbour and old port, alongside narrow shopping streets and waterfront restaurants. From Chania, it’s a two-hour drive to the island's capital Heraklion where you can immerse yourself in ancient culture. The vibrant port city is best known for the Palace of Knossos. The archaeological site dates back thousands of years to the Minoan civilisation. Guarding the city’s Venetian port is the 16th-century Koules fortress. A drive around Heraklion will also bring you to traditional villages, Medieval castles, Byzantine monasteries and secluded coves.
