Near the northern tip of Plage de l’Almanarre, Villa Flotsam enjoys an enviable seafront setting around 400 metres from one of the most superb beaches on the Mediterranean coast. Toulon Hyères Airport is less than 5km away.

With its ever-changing palette of blues, sweeping views and wonderful sunsets, this idyllic corner of southern France offers the perfect balance of nature, watersports and coastal charm. Guests can wander down the coastal road for lazy afternoons watching kite-surfers dance across the water in the salty sea breeze.

The villa sits above the Giens peninsula, a unique and captivating stretch of land flanked by turquoise waters and salt lagoons. Within a short drive, you can explore Étang des Pesquiers, a protected haven for flamingos and birdlife, or stroll along the calmer sands of Plage La Bergerie on the peninsula’s eastern shore.

Hyères (5km), a historic town brimming with Provençal flair, lies just a short distance away. Its old town is a maze of cobbled lanes and shaded squares, home to vibrant markets, 13th-century ramparts and elegant gardens. In the opposite direction, the laid-back coastal town of Carqueiranne (5km) offers a more relaxed, local vibe, with traditional restaurants, a bustling harbour and hidden beaches perfect for picnics and peaceful swims. Meanwhile, Le Sentier du Littoral offers spectacular coastal walking trails through pine forest and rocky coves, revealing panoramic sea views at every turn.

For a true taste of maritime adventure, head to La Tour Fondue (9km) at the southern tip of the peninsula, where ferries depart for Les Îles d’Hyères – a stunning archipelago of protected islands, including the car-free gem of Porquerolles.
